Popular around the world as a children's bassoon (age 6+) or a professional instrument for use in double reed ensembles, the Wolf FG5+ is a fagottino is pitched in G for easy transposition. The model Fg5+ is complete with a whisper key mechanism.
Treble clef parts in C can be played untransposed making this mini-bassoon an excellent choice for any ensemble. Bass clef music written for the bassoon can be played as normal but will sound a 5th higher. This mini-bassoon uses standard modern bassoon fingerings.
