This bassoon is in great shape! Cooper Model Püchners were originally imported by Hugh Cooper. Cooper would make several changes to each instrument, including new speaker tubes, to help improve the overall performing ability of each instrument. It has a warm, resonant tone. With the Heckel bocal, it also possesses an even scale and easy response in every octave. This instrument is most easily comparable to a Fox Renard 220 or 240, but also has a lot of potential to be played at an even higher level.
