This Schreiber S16 was delivered in summer of 2023. Protected by a Schreiber case, it comes with Schreiber KE1 and KE2 bocal.

This bassoon has gone to many trials and shows. MMI is the only owner of this instrument, and it is functionally a new instrument.

The Schreiber S16 is an intermediate/advanced model bassoon, most comparable to a Fox Renard 220 or 240. Made with aged maple, it features key work up to high E. These Schreiber bassoons have a light and easy response. They also possess a great characteristic sound that helps project in the orchestra. It's great for solo and section playing alike!
