This Püchner Bassoon was picked up from the Püchner factory in Nauheim in 2023. Protected by a Marcus Bonna case, it comes with a Püchner CC1 and CC2 bocal.

This bassoon has gone to many trials and shows. MMI is the only owner of this instrument, and it is functionally a new instrument.

The Püchner Model 23 is the middle entry in Püchner's line of professional bassoons. The modern design gives this bassoon a robust, resonant tone throughout the range of the instrument. This particular model is the traditional finish, which provides a cutting, powerful sound that easily projects. It has a terrific and even scale. It also features some additional keywork, such as the right hand Eb trill, and the Ab-Bb trill.
