A contrabass clarinet in this price range does not come along very often. Now is the time to check it off your bucket list! This instrument was purchased new by a university in 2014. During its stent at the university it received damage to the tenon but was repaired by an established repair shop and has been well maintained ever since. The last major serving was completed in 2022. MMI's expert repair technicians have also evaluated the tenon repair and confirms that it appears to be stable.* The instrument also comes with a custom case with wheels for ease of travel.

The instrument includes a Clark Fobes Contrabass clarinet mouthpiece and cap. As with most Selmer Contrabass clarinets, the sound is robust, easy to play and will be a blast for any contra enthusiast. This instrument is available for immediate purchase or trial.
