This Fox Model I is an older professional bassoon with the same bore design as the Model II. It features a gorgeous singing voice with even intonation and easy response. This bassoon has a full set of professional keywork, including high Eb and E keys, a left hand Eb trill key, and an Ab-Bb trill key. The rollers on the low D and C keys, the whisper key and C# keys, and all the right hand thumb keys, facilitate easy technique. The bocal it has been paired with, a Heckel VCD1n, brightens the tone and gives it a soloistic quality. Despite having a patch on it, the bocal is still in excellent working condition.

This Model I would be a fantastic instrument for someone looking for a professional bassoon on a budget!
