Flat Equalling style is a rectangular file with cutting surfaces on the sides as well as on the faces. The Swiss style is useful for reed makers that prefer the way a traditional file cuts with parallel teeth compared to the diamond surface on our other files. Ideal for scraping towards the corners on a bassoon reed style that calls for a sharp inverse "V" style scrape at the tip.
