Uhl - 48 Studies for Clarinet Book 2

Alfred Uhl (1909-1992) was an Austrian composer of film music, orchestral works, and chamber music. 48 Studies (1938) includes exercises on legato, staccato, tonguing stamina, register change, tonal evenness, wide intervals, dynamics, differentiation in articulation, and more. This etude book is meant to introduce advancing clarinetist to modern music with atonal and tonal concepts.

These studies are intended to complement the existing teaching material for the clarinet, making the budding clarinetist familiar with the difficulties peculiar to modern instrumental music.
