The Fox Model 660 was first introduced in 1992. As a thick-wall bassoon, the 660 has longer and larger tone holes designed to produce more power while maintaining a singing and flexible tenor register ideal for orchestral performers.

We can special order any professional Fox bassoon to your specifications, or modify our stock instruments after you've tried them. Fox Model 660 Standard Features:
- Select, aged Mountain or Red Maple body
- Nickel silver water tubes extending into the bore
- French (metal) or German (white synthetic ivory) bell
- Natural rubber lining in the wing joint and small bore of the boot joint
- Two professional Fox B bocals: #2 and #3

- Full German key system with silver plating
- Rollers for right little finger F & A♭
- Rollers for left little finger E♭ & D♭
- Right hand whisper key lock, rotary style
