This older Schreiber bassoon is a unique instrument with a lovely German sound, ready to go to a new home!

After many years of playing in the hands of the previous owner, they decided to retire from playing the bassoon and send this instrument to its next home. The exact age is indeterminable since it predates when Schreiber began to keep annual records in 1960. The keywork does not include high D or E keys, so it would be best suited for someone starting out on a budget, or a casual hobbyist.

Our repair shop gave this Schreiber bassoon a full general maintenance upon its arrival, so it's in optimal playing condition. This also allows us to include our 1-year used bassoon warranty with the purchase of this instrument.
