This older Puchner bassoon is a special one! As is typical with instruments from this manufacturer, this instrument's sound quality is warm, dark, and easy to sing through. Compared to modern Puchner bassoons, it has a thinner wall, so the response is second to none. This bassoon is effortless to play!

The previous owner added modern keywork and rollers which, combined with its incredible sound, makes it a competitive instrument. These additions include: high D and E keys, Ab-Bb trill key, rollers on the low D and C keys, and rollers on the right hand thumb keys.

Our repair shop this instrument a full general maintenance so it will play optimally. As a result, this instrument comes with our 1-year used bassoon warranty.
