This older Puchner bassoon is in excellent condition! As is typical with instruments from this manufacturer, this instrument's sound quality is warm, dark, and easy to sing through. Compared to modern Puchner bassoons, it has a thinner wall, so the response is second to none. This bassoon is effortless to play!

The professional keywork makes this instrument quite competitive to others in this price range. It comes with high D and E keys, Ab-Bb trill key, D-Eb trill, rollers on the low D and C keys, and rollers on the right hand thumb keys.
