This Fox 900 is in like-new condition! This instrument was made in 2024 but was purchased recently by someone who decided not to pursue learning contrabassoon. This instrument has hardly been played. Because of this, we have done basically no work to this contrabassoon but it is in good playing condition.

This contra has a really nice sound and feels very responsive and easy. The standard Fox configuration does have a divorced low E as well as a RH forefinger Eb key. 

We think this is a really great contra especially given the condition! This instrument is available for trials, but we prefer in-store trials for contrabassoons. We will consider shipping it for trial but there is always a certain amount of risk involved in doing so, and it can be very expensive. Please inquire about shipping this instrument.
