This Fox 601 is exemplary of its kind! Featuring a beautifully warm tone, this instrument's long bore and thick wall is great for playing powerful low passages. Its mellower sound makes it particularly great at blending with other players, and would be especially great for chamber music or second bassoon playing. 

This instrument has full professional keywork, including an Ab-Bb trill key. The unplated Heckel bocal that comes with it is great for playing very soft. If you're looking for a brighter sound, the Fox T3 bocal that comes with offers another sound option as well.

Our repair shop gave this Fox 601 a full general maintenance. As a result, it comes with MMI's 1-year used bassoon repair warranty.
