The Fox 601 is a thick wall, long bore instrument. It has a lovely baritone sound and is great for performing in large orchestras, especially as 2nd bassoon. It has a nice, warm, sonorous sound that is easy to blend with in all situations.

About This Bassoon

This 601 has a large number of custom key work options that make it very versatile. It has double high E & F keys, an Eb trill, A bridge, rotary whisper lock, an articulated Ab/Bb trill, a double low C, and a double wide F# key. This instrument has a good response and even scale and is very nice to play. This bassoon would be a great step up option for a player looking for something with lots of options and playing possibilities!

The check price is $22,000. The card price listed above, includes a 3% card processing fee. This instrument comes with the 1-year used instrument warranty. It has received a general maintenance in our repair shop and feels great.
