The Reeds 'n Stuff Bassoon Profiler is easy to use and adjust. There are several settings that can be adjusted, including the thickness of the profiler and the cut, where your collar and center lines are located and scored, and the length the tube and blade ends. All tools are provided. The machine can also be mounted to a bench for stability. Peripheral barrels can be purchased from Reeds 'n Stuff to match your preference of gouge, from concentric to eccentric with extra thick spine. This machine also contains modular components to accommodate contra or Baroque bassoon cane.

A good profiler can do most of the work so that you spend a minimal amount of time adjusting the reed after cutting the tip. This profiler is made to get those fine details dialed in easily. If you're looking for a profiling machine that will make your cane processing easy, this is the clear winner.
