OPEN BOX - Reeds 'n Stuff Bassoon Straight Shaper - MORELLI

RnS straight shapers for bassoon have several unique features:

• Silicone inserts at the center of the shaper hold profiled cane in place while shaping, and can be removed for those who shape their cane before profiling.
• Markings at the thinnest point of the shaper hightlight the point at which the blade and shaping direction should be reversed.
• The outer pair of lines are set 118 mm apart (148 mm for contrabassoon), to help center cane cut at this shorter length.

The MORELLI shape is a direct collaboration with Frank Morelli to bring his unique shape into a straight shaper version for the first time.

Notable measurements: 14.9mm max cane width, 9.1mm at narrowest point, 10.2mm end flare. This is a pretty narrow shape at the tip, which allows for the bassoonist to use these reeds in all situations, from orchestra to chamber to teaching.
