This open box instrument has been with MMI since April 2024. We are the only owner.

This Leitzinger model I bears the antique finish and several custom options: the 5-piece long bell configuration (sometimes referred to as "Gentleman's Cut"), a high F key, and an Ab-Bb trill key. In addition to the extra keys, it has a full set of RH thumb rollers, as well as rollers for the Whisper/C#, and low C/D keys.

The Model I from Leitzinger offers a flexible, colorful sound, great for all kinds of settings from orchestra to chamber music. High notes are incredibly easy on this bassoon, especially with the included Leitzinger MF1 and 2 platinum plated bocals.

It also comes with two options for hand rests: a standard wooden hand rest, and a Spiri hand rest that can be fully adjusted to be in just about any position you need.

We have also made several voicing adjustments to this instrument so that it feels even better to play! We think this is a great option for anyone looking for a flexible, easy bassoon.
