We are proud to welcome to our diverse line up of F.Lorée Professional oboes the Lorée B+ Series Grenadilla Oboe.
Developed through a partnership between F.Lorée Paris and John Ferrillo, principal oboist of the Boston Symphony, the B+ Series oboes are a truly wonderful instrument. The design of the instrument is based on the actual B serial number instruments that were played by John DeLancie in the Philadelphia orchestra. Characterized by their rich tone and ease of playing, the B series instrument are very highly sought after as solo and orchestral instruments and are being played in orchestras across the US including the Seattle Symphony, Cincinnati Symphony, and Atlanta Symphony to name a few.
We stock the B+ series instruments with the following Specs:
- Full Conservatory including all resonances - 3rd Octave, F Resonance, and Low Bb Resonance
- Grenadilla Wood with Synthetic Lined Top Joint
- Philadelphia D Mechanism
These oboes come in the French style leather case with nylon case cover and include a 2-year crack & 1-year maintenance warranty.
