The newest generation of Fox bocals are a large improvement over the old Double Star models. All of these bocals are excellent choices for advanced players and professionals.
The T bocal will perform well with nearly all bassoons. Designed for flexibility, T bocals provide stable pitch and excellent response, especially in the middle and upper registers. This bocal is a great choice all-around, but is the best choice for principal and solo playing.
The B bocal provides a focused and full tone with excellent stability, with a special focus on resonance in the low register. This makes the B an ideal choice for a 2nd or 3rd player.
All bocals are made of nickel silver and silver-plated, and available in lengths 1, 2, and 3.
