The only professional plastic English horn on the market, the Fox Model 520 is made of high-quality resin and includes silver plated posts, bands, and bell ring. It is the durable, crack-proof version of the Fox 500, developed in conjunction with Grover Schiltz of the Chicago Symphony. The 520 features a full conservatory system, including a low B vent key.
The model includes two standard Fox XL bocals (#2, #3), and is a very responsive, lightweight instrument with a stable, resonant sound. Ideal for outdoor and cold concert hall gigs, or schoolers and doublers looking for a reliable low maintenance instrument.
