The Fox Model 500 is the original all-grenadilla professional English horn that was developed with Grover Schiltz of the Chicago Symphony. Featuring a full conservatory key system, select grenadilla body, and metal lined tenon sockets and silver plated posts, bands, and bell ring. Also includes two standard Fox XL bocals (#2, #3). The Fox 500 possesses a rich, mellow tone quality while having a very free response. Manages to retain enough "edge" to project into a hall without sounding too forward.
