The best-selling of student oboes now in a hybrid, the Renard Artist Model 330 Hybrid (330H) combines the stability and reliability of resin, with the tone quality and resonance of wood. This is an intermediate model that is ideal for the advancing musician, allowing them to grow in sound production and technique.
With the same keywork as the original 330, the 330H offers a synthetic top joint made of high-quality plastic resin and a lower joint and bell of Grenadilla wood. Enjoy the tone quality and projection of wood without having to worry about the upper joint cracking.
The 330H bore is hand-reamed and finished by Fox craftsmen. It has 18% nickel silver keys with nickel silver hinge tubing and heavy silver plating, and stainless steel arbors and wire springs.
