Reed Characteristics:

Swift bassoon reeds are made to play the full range of the instrument. They have a very vibrant, colorful sound, and are also quite responsive. The Rieger 13 shape is responsible for a lot of this, as the Mechler-style (or goblet) shapes tend to have a distinct tone and respond with relatively light air. If you want a reed that plays easily, this is a great option!
