Stay ready for any gig that comes your way with Boveda's humidity control packs!

Without proper humidity control, wood instruments are subject to a large amount of fluctuation and warpage, and can damage an instrument. With Boveda's two-way humidity control packs, your wood instrument will work the way it should, without fear of excessive fluctuation, cracking, or other damage. Wood instruments should be kept between 40-60 percent humidity to function properly.

As a natural material, reeds are also subject to warpage and shifting if not kept in a humidity-controlled case. By placing a Boveda pack in your reed case, the humidity keeps the cane functioning properly. Reeds should be kept around 70-80 percent to function properly if played every day. Reeds should be kept around 40-60 percent humidity if stored or not played every day. 

Boveda humidity packs offer two-way humidity, meaning they release moisture in the air when too dry, and absorb moisture when too wet. Boveda packs are plastic-lined on the inside, so you can place these packs in your instrument or reed case without fear of leaks.

We offer multiple humidity percentages, sizes, and multi-packs to suit your needs. Be sure to store items in a sealed container/bag before use - Boveda claims they should last up to 1 year*.
