Ishimori Wind Instruments opened in 1951 as a repair shop dedicated to providing expert service to musicians in Japan and has become a destination spot for visiting saxophonists. Master craftsmen Shinji Ishimori founded Ishimori Woodstone in the late 1990s with an initial focus on creating high-quality ligatures for saxophone and clarinet. Ishimori quickly expanded his product line which now includes reeds, mouthpieces, saxophones and various accessories.
