This Fox 201 is in terrific shape! This bassoon is being sold as-is, but it is in very playable condition. The short bore design of the 201 gives it great flexibility and projection, and this instrument is no exception. This bassoon would be a great upgrade from any Renard, and offers many of the same qualities of the 240, with fewer drawbacks. This bassoon has a great sound, and the Heckel bocal also gives it additional power to help it cut through an orchestra.
