This rare find is a dream clarinet for the vintage clarinet collector! Made sometime in 1956 or 1957, this is one of the earliest examples of the Buffet R13 Bb clarinet we have seen and it is in wonderful condition. When originally purchased, it was used lightly for a few years before being put away so it is practically brand new. Because of this, the clarinet still has a wonderfully focused and resonate sound and great intonation. The clarinet is also free of existing or repair cracks and has unplated nickel-silver keys.

Prior to listing, the clarinet received a full overhaul, replacing all pads and silencer materials and fitting all keywork.  Also included with the clarinet is a new Protec case.
