Flat Warding Swiss File
$18.00
Flat Warding style is similar to the Flat Equaling in that it is a rectangular file with cutting surfaces on the sides as well as on the faces. The Warding style differs in that the rectangle comes to a point at the end of the file. The Swiss style is useful for reed makers that prefer the way a traditional file cuts with parallel teeth compared to the diamond surface on our other files. Ideal for scraping towards the corners on a bassoon reed style that calls for a sharp inverse "V" style scrape at the tip or for work at the collar.
