CAYO (Cuban American Youth Orchestra) Presents Los Vientos de la Habana in a Free Concert!

Midwest Musical Imports and Cuban American Youth Orchestra (CAYO) proudly present four wind players from Havana as part of CAYO's second week long academy. A portion of MMI's sales this day will directly benefit future CAYO musicians!
Students will be performing their own arrangements of traditional Cuban music as well as selections from Mozart's Quintet for Piano and Winds with Susan Billmeyer, piano, and Beethoven's Wind Octet with Minnesota Orchestra musicians and University of Minnesota School of Music faculty John Snow, oboe; Tim Zavadil, clarinet; Norbert Nielubowski, bassoon and Caroline Lemen, French horn.
The Cuban American Youth Orchestra (CAYO) is an independent 501(c)(3) organization that serves as a musical link between our two countries. CAYO is dedicated to providing educational and performance opportunities for student and pre-professional musicians from the US and Cuba through workshops, arts delegations, and cultural exchanges.
