Fossati "Soliste 20th Anniversary" Oboe
Here is a unique design limited to 20 units to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the
Fossati firm! This instrument has already been adopted by Liviu Varcol (Soloist at the
Frankfurt Radio) and Martin Gebhardt (Aulos Quartett).
The keywork has a very particular look: instead of Rhodium, we have
applied a Rhuténium layer on the keywork (used in jewelry, that possesses non-oxidizing
properties), which give to the instrument this unique “Black Mirror” look.
This oboe is mainly based on the V model’s bore type. The design of the head is totally
different, so that it matches the bell’s shape…this modification and some others allow
the 20th Anniversary Oboe to differentiate itself noticeably from the V models soundwise.
Finally, it comes in a stylish leather case with orange inside velour.
...an instrument endowed with a great sound and design personality that you will never see
anywhere else!
