Fossati CA01 & CA01N Professional English Horns

These top-of-the-line professional models feature a full conservatory system and rhodium plated keys. Available with mother of pearl inlays (CA01N). Comes with 2 bocals and case with integrated case cover.

Unique Features of the Fossati CA01/CA01N models:

  1. Keys are covered with rhodium (a precious, non-oxidizing metal). Rhodium & pearl inlays is especially noteworthy if player has acidic hands and would like to avoid pitting metal.
  2. Fossati Trill Key System (registered). Use of 1 instead 2 holes reduces risk of cracks while providing more accurate tuning of trills when combined with BARRET fingering.
  3. Adjustment screws on upper joint are placed closer to the corresponding keys to allow more precise adjustments with less wear on cork and metal.
  4. All keywork is rounded also to avoid wear and tear on keywork & cork.
  5. Side octave key has extra adjusting screw to avoid damage to cork of first octave key.
  6. Addition of Philadelphia D adjustment screw, which facilitates response in high register.
